Irony:
Mikie Sherrill spent most of Election 2025 talking about Donald Trump, but during a pre-inaugural appearance on ABC this weekend, the Governor-elect accused President Trump of a misplaced focus on Greenland. She also accused the President of the United States of “attacking” American citizens.
“I think the President’s trying to incite the protesters so that he can take America’s eyes off the fact that his militia that he’s building around this country is actually attacking American citizens,” said Sherrill who appeared to be nursing large bags under her eyes.
Sherrill will assume the governorship on Tuesday.
