New Jersey saw net NEGATIVE domestic migration of 37,428 souls between July 1st 2024 and 2025, Save Jerseyans, the fourth worst showing in the country by raw numbers. Only Illinois, New York, and California fared worse. No surprises there.

New Jersey isn’t presently expected to lose an electoral votes in the 2030 census, but being as it’s a sanctuary state, much of its raw population growth (about one-quarter of a million people since 2020) is undoubtedly the product of illegal immigration. The Garden State is home to as many as 900,000 illegals by one estimate and 600,000 according to another.
