Rep. LaMonica McIver (D, NJ) continues to demonstrate why she may be the trashiest member of Congress, Save Jerseyans, and there’s quite a bit of competition these days for that honor!
During a Tuesday House hearing, the indicted New Jersey Democrat – who faces prison after assaulting federal law enforcement at an U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention facility in Newark – lashed out at Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons and asked him whether he believe he’s “going to hell.”
Like I said… she’s trash.
Here’s the exchange:
McIver: Do you consider yourself a religious man?
Lyons: Yes.
McIver: How do you think judgment day will work for you with so much blood on your hands? Do you think you’re going to hell?
Gabarino: Members are required to stick to decorum.
McIver: I’m just asking questions. You guys are always talking about religion.
