Leave it to Cory Booker to wade into the Roxbury detention center flap and make sh*t up.
Spartacus made the comments during Tuesday’s Senate committee testimony of DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, accusing ICE officials of ignoring local input.
ICE says that’s not accurate.
“@SenBooker is either lying or uninformed. ICE officials have met with the mayor, the city manager, AND city council members of Roxbury, NJ, to discuss the purchasing and utilization of an industrial warehouse as a detention facility,” ICE explained via its official X account:

Meanwhile, ICE estimates the facility could spin off as many as 1,300 jobs for the community.
