CITIZENS LAST: Feds fear Sherrill’s New Jersey poised to release accused illegal alien pedophile

By Matt Rooney

Sanctuary Statehood continues to imperil the people of New Jersey… including our most vulnerable citizens.

This week, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) took the extraordinary step of issuing a press release calling on New Jersey to NOT release Gerardo Garcia Gonzalez, a man arrested by the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office. DHS says he’s been held for an alleged “sexual assault of a victim between 13 and 15 years old, criminal sexual contact, and sexual assault by force/coercion.”

He’s also an illegal alien from Mexico.

Gonzalez arrived in the country back in 2001, got kicked out, but subsequently returned.

“This pedophile should NEVER have been in our country and able to prey on children in the first place,” said Deputy Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis. “We are calling on New Jersey sanctuary politicians to NOT release this predator charged with sexually assaulting a child from jail into New Jersey neighborhoods. This is the exact reason we need sanctuary jurisdictions to work with us. No one should want this sicko to be on our streets.”

DHS also called out Attorney General Jennifer Davenport – endorsed by the entire New Jersey Republican Senate caucus – who is creating a portal to doxx ICE agents.

New Jersey became a sanctuary jurisdiction back in 2018 by Attorney General directive; Democrats have since introduced a myriad of bills which would enshrine restrictions on cooperation with ICE – and ICE’s operations – in statute. Three bills are currently expected to receive a floor vote on March 23rd.
