Sometimes, performative politicking is difficult work, Save Jerseyans.
You might get pepper spray in your eye like Andy Kim, or charged with a felony like LaMonica McIver.
Or, if you’re Congressman Rob Menendex, a heckler might make fun of you for your dad being in jail.
This happened on Tuesday at Delaney Hall:
Congressman Rob Menendez (D-NJ) gets heckled by a lone pro-ICE counter-protester who asks about how his dad is doing (Bob Menendez was convicted in a political fraud case), and says that Menendez is responsible for the death of Dayanara Cortez.
