Sarah Palin is superiorly qualified to advise Paul Ryan on what to expect in the coming days and weeks of a national campaign, Save Jerseyans.
Ryan’s background is different; he’s been on the national stage for years albeit in a diminished capacity whereas the Palin of 2008 was a relative newcomer. I was still interested to hear her perspective earlier today on Fox News (see below).
A quick couple observations…
For whatever it’s worth (since it came up in the interview), I think Sarah Palin would be a very solid choice for Energy Secretary. I’d rather NOT have a Department of Energy! It’s a bit superfluous. But if we’re going to have it, appointing someone with executive experience, a proven track record of developing/supporting energy independence and, yes, a healthy dose of fire in the belly would certainly represent a welcome change of pace…
I was also glad to hear Palin “talk up” the GOP ticket. I’ve been critical of her somewhat uncompromising attitude in the past even when the ultimate outcome was abundantly clear. This interview, however, is really Sarah at her best:
