Cullari and Little Compete for Long Shot Bid Against Pallone in NJ-6

This could be interesting to watch, Save Jerseyans.

At least through June.

Tea Party activist Anna Little (R-Highlands) won the backing of Middlesex County’s Republican organization over the weekend, 149 to 48, over her sole primary competitor for this cycle’s NJ-6 GOP nomination.

Her aforementioned competitor, businessman Ernesto Cullari (R-Asbury Park), already captured the endorsement of the neighboring Monmouth County GOP earlier this month.

So what we have here is the political equivalent of a “circuit split.” Both candidates will run grassroots campaigns, knock doors, visit tea parties and log phone calls through the June 6th primary for the right to challenge U.S. Rep. Frank Pallone (D-NJ) in November.

The problem: NJ-6 Republican leaders don’t really care who wins the primary. A lot has changed since last time around, too. Frank Pallone defeated Anna Little by over 16,000 votes, 55% to 43%, in the Republican wave of 2010. The district is now much bluer following redistricting, and Democrat turnout will be much higher this presidential year in traditionally-Democratic Middlesex County as well as the few remaining liberal outposts in Monmouth. Whoever emerges from the Republican Primary will have to raise money, recruit volunteers and build credibility (and name recognition) without organizational assistance.

Oh, and did I mention that Frank Pallone has approximately $4 million cash on hand?

Still, may God bless them for giving it a shot, Save Jerseyans. The odds are long and the rewards are few, but we certainly need SOMEONE to step up and challenge Frank Pallone’s pitiful record in Washington. I hope the best man (or woman) wins!

  1. I am sure you have seen the commercial for it by now. There are a ton of different options,
however you will find a lot of online resources that
advise players to do things a certain way. There arent any skill or analysis
timber in Clash of Clans, just troops and constructions
to be built and upgraded and all that’s required is gold or elixir and
    time.
