The South Has Risen; Davis Ascends to NJGOP Chair of Chairs

It’s a headline that would have made our former Blogger-in-Chief proud, Save Jerseyans!

Last night, Atlantic County Republican Chairman (and avid Save Jersey reader) Keith Davis, was elected to succeed State Senator Kevin O’Toole (R-Essex) as head of the NJGOP County Chairmen’s Association.

The second should send a chill down Democrats’ spines. New Jersey Republicans are increasingly young and energized. Davis (37) and NJGOP Chairman Jay Webber (38) are both under the age of 40. Their early ascension to two of the highest party positions signals that the torch has been passed to a new generation of Republican leaders that will almost certainly be around for decades to come.  Leaders like Davis and Webber can no longer be talked about as rising stars and the future leaders of the Republican Party. They ARE the party…
