Numbers Game: Beck vs. Left Nation

On October 2nd, Communists, Socialists, Progressives (ok, I’ll stop listing synonyms) everywhere gathered on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. with their response to Glen Beck’s Restoring Honor Rally that took place on August 28th. On the day of Beck’s rally, the media took special care, even hiring survey specialists to estimate the crowd levels on the mall. CBS, for example, returned an estimate of 85,000 people. This was far below any other estimate from other outlets, ranging anywhere from 200,000 to 600,000. Beck himself estimated the crowd at 350,000 on his radio show.

At the One Nation liberal rally this past weekend, those who ran the hate filled event claimed that they brought a bigger crowd to our nations capital to support their cause. The picture says it all, I don’t even think I need to say anything more.

  1. Considering a sizeable portion of Tea Party supporters are either openly or closet White Supremacist members, and also our great border protectors the Minutemen, I'm not sure your over generalization of "communists, socialists, progressives," which by the way are not synonyms, as attending a "hate filled event" is quite accurate.

  2. Is an "openly or closet" White Supremacist member kind of like a job that is "created or saved"? Another statistical fantasy?

C'mon Will, its great to have opinions but at least ground them in some evidence, even crappy evidence.
