You Were Saying, Senator Menendez?

Just days after U.S. Senator “Hudson Bob” Menendez (D-NJ) penned an embarrassingly stupid letter to Santa fretting over alleged melting at the North Pole, New Jerseyans today are digging out from 30+ inches of snow in some of the Garden State’s more northern locales.

Reality is always inconvenient for the stubborn Left! Actually, I bet more of Menendez’s constituents share his belief in Saint Nick than his ridiculous adherence to the global warming theory. New Jersey recently decided to end its contributions to a regional cap-and-trade program. A simple Google search reveals dozens of polls reflecting sagging support for “global warming” as a valid scientific theory. With every passing day, it’s clear that the warm summers and mild winters of the 1990’s were likely attributable to normal cycles of our plant and NOT an unnatural, prolonged period of global warming wrought by carbon emissions.

Senator Menendez’s next letter should be to this state’s taxpayers. It should contain a heart-melting apology for wasting time and ink pushing junk science while our country’s economic crisis lingers on, and he should mail it without delay… as soon as his sidewalks are cleared of the 30+ inches of snow that Americans were never supposed to see again!
