Lots of self-congratulation going on right now in Washington, Save Jerseyans.
The big debt deal of 2011 breaks down to $32.4 Billion per page and the largest debt ceiling hike in U.S. history. It’s also notable for what’s not included: tax hikes that would’ve been a final nail in our hobbled economy’s coffin! I do agree that it’s the best Speaker Boehner could negotiate while the Senate and White House remain in Democrat hands. There’s no getting around that reality and it’s irresponsible to suggest otherwise. That doesn’t mean it’s worth celebrating, either, and it DEFINITELY underscores the importance of firing President Obama and Senate Majority Leader Reid next November.
