Operation Save the State House is officially underway, Save Jerseyans.
We’ll be making some campaign headquarters stops over the next few weeks. This is a participatory project: our goal is to draw your attention to races where you can pitch in to make a difference for your home state.
Granted, Republican control of the State House may be an uphill climb in 2011. The blame largely rests with Alan Rosenthal. It is what it is. But the fact remains that there are plenty of legislative districts out there that were carried by Chris Christie in 2009 with incumbent Democrat legislators.
Given what happened last week in NY-8 taken together with the polling news that I’m hearing (sorry, can’t disclose just yet), ANYTHING is possible on November 8th. And forget about control: just a few more votes in either chamber could be the difference on a few key Christie initiatives. There’s some wild cards at work, too, including whether Big Labor shows up or stays home.
So join us this Saturday, September 24th from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at LD1 Republican headquarters, located on the 3200 block of Pacific Avenue in Wildwood, NJ. Brian and Ed will be there, too.
The DeWeese team can win with your assist!
