Here we are at day four of Operation Save the State House’s Bergen deployment! Today’s video is a real treat. While I was sitting in the BCRO talking to operatives and eating the free food set out for the volunteers, Senate Republican Leader Tom Kean, Jr. walked into the headquarters from a round of door knocking for the candidates in LD38.
I’ve known Senator Kean for a few years now and can say that he probably one of the most friendly members of either caucus in Trenton. He walked right up and clearly did not have a ton of time (there were plenty more doors to knock!) but sat down with us for a good twelve minute interview on the direction of the Senate GOP caucus, the Governor’s agenda, the coming lame duck session, and the importance of the 2011 election cycle. Check out the video below, and be sure to come back tomorrow at 11:00AM for our interview with Don Diorio, Senate candidate in LD36.
