Your Blogger-in-Chief predicted this last week when the Governor bowed out, Save Jerseyans. Nevertheless, tonight’s debate just got a lot more interesting! Wouldn’t you agree?

From Fox News:

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, just one week after definitively announcing he will not run for president in the 2012 race, plans to endorse Mitt Romney for the job Tuesday afternoon, Fox News has learned.

The event is set to take place in Hanover, N.H., the site of the Republican presidential debate being held Tuesday night. The endorsement will be made in advance of the debate.

Marking a fast turnaround for Romney, the endorsement comes one week to the day since Christie called a press conference in Trenton to end once and for all the speculation that he would make a late entrance into the race.”

Figures. You even have your mug shot with him.

  2. This will be something Romney can use in the debate tonight.

I am calling it right now, Romney mentions his endorsement by Governor Christie and the GOP crowd in attendance erupts in cheers and applause.

This pisses me off as a NJ Republican and I do not think that I am alone. I feel completely disconnected from my party now.

We want a real conservative running in 2012 not some flip flopping closet massachusetts liberal!

Since Christie basically rules the NJGOP with an iron fist, I now see the direction the plan on taking. I will be sitting this 2011 election out for sure. Clearly none of the NJGOP supported Republicans are the types of conservatives that we should have running our government.

And to think, if the Governor had just worried about staying home and working on NJ issues for the next month I would have come out and voted for the GOP in the 2011 election. Now I don't have to waste my time.

THEY MIGHT BOO. Christie is not very conservative and the debate crowds are full of Palin/Paul tea party patriots! No green candidates in 2012 or it's 4 more years of Obummer.

  5. You don't like Mitt Romney… so you're going to sit home and let Democrats continue to run Trenton?

I'm not following you. Make me understand!

Oh yeah…big tent! Can't we all just get along…Heh-heh.

  7. Not happy with the gov right now at all!

Mitt Romney is a flip flopping indecisive mer shiny suit that leaves a bad aftertaste in your mouth of being fake! If he is the Republican nominee however I will hold my nose and help him defeat Barack Obama!

Mitt flipped in the right direction years ago. Like Ronald Reagan.

    When did he ever flop?

  9. Mitt is a RINO. CC is not a true conservative. Best you can do in NJ. However – I want a conservative president.

  10. Nice pic, isn't it?
