VP Christie? Goes After Obama AND Gingrich on MSNBC

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, Save Jerseyans.

It’s also readily apparent that Governor Chris Christie wants to keep his vice presidential options open. Wide open. Forget the big dollar fundraisers and curiously early endorsement for Mitt Romeny. The Guv’s language is that of a relentlessly loyal hatchet man – the traditional role of a national running mate.

On Morning Joe today, Christie said Obama was “probably the weakest president I’ve seen in my lifetime.” That’s consistent with his prior comments. Much more interesting? Christie went after Newt Gingrich hard; at one point, he quipped that the “Speaker can’t help himself but be the center of attention.”
