Where is the Outrage Over the Extreme Democrat Abortion Platform?

I’ve heard nothing for days from Democrats other than complaints about Todd Akin’s asinine rape gaffe.

It’s a transparently petty stratagem intended to paint all Republicans as EXTREME, insensitive, anti-woman cavemen for political gain. It’s also yet another example from our public discourse where a willing mainstream media reinforces an anti-GOP double standard.

Otherwise we’d be talking about the Democrats’ extreme pro-abortion platform…

In 2004, the Democrat National Convention’s platform was decidely pro-abortion but at least contained the qualifier that abortions should be “rare” in America. Who the hell WANTS more abortions? Except for perhaps some of the abortion providers who profit handsomely from this grisly practice.

Flash forward to 2008, Save Jerseyans. That cycle’s revised DNC platform continued to contain no qualifier whatsover on abortion at any stage of pregnancy even in the case of “partial-birth abortion,” a truly barbaric process whereby scissors are inserted into unborn children’s skulls in order to remove their brains with a vacuum. But guess what? Democrats felt the need to delete “rare” from the final DNC draft, stating only “a woman’s right to choose a safe and legal abortion, regardless of ability to pay, and we oppose any and all efforts to weaken or undermine that right.”

It’s not all too surprising; as an Illinois state senator, Barack Obama had a far-left abortion voting record. He even opposed the “Born Alive Infant Protection Act” which sought to protect the lives of children who survived botched abortions. What a guy, huh?

Polling has consistently shown huge majorities of Americans opposing partial birth abortion. That makes the Democrat platform an EXTREME document (at least in reference to its abortion position). So why isn’t anyone in the MSM grilling leading Democrats on their objectively EXTREME position on abortion? Why aren’t talking heads on the networks asking out-loud how the Democrats can hope to win with their pro-partial birth abortion platform? And can the media reflect on this inconsistency and not wonder whether they’ve failed to do their job?

  1. Matt…Heard an iteresting thought tonight that most people do not like either of the two extreme positions on the abortion issue. On one side, partial birth abortion and on the other would be forcing victims of rape or incest who become pregnant to give birth.

  2. Mold removal is so important if you have a problem in your home.
If anyone in your home or office seems to get sick primarily
when they are in that building, there is a strong
possibility that mold is the cause. Check for a company’s license and registration details with the
local authorities before you assign them for the service.
