Governor Chris Christie is preparing for his 100th town hall meeting, scheduled for this Wednesday in Manahawkin.
It’s undoubtedly been one of the keys to his political success. They worked for Republicans heading into 2010, too, so I’ve never understood why more politicians don’t utilize the format. Fear might have something to do with it. Town halls are relatively uncontrolled environments; the host needs a special skill set to pull it off.
