North Jersey politics is notoriously rough stuff, Save Jerseyans.
One Secaucus man claims state Senator and Mayor Brian Stack (D-Union City) took it to the next level.
The male resident in question reportedly filed a simple assault charge against Stack in North Bergen Municipal Court after the Mayor allegedly accused the man of being a spy and “choked” him at a December 2012 holiday party (via Jersey Journal).
It’s important to note that Stack, a powerful Democrat Party boss with strong ties to the Christie Administration, has denied the allegation.
A hearing is scheduled for next Monday, January 7th. We’ll keep you in the loop.
