FirefightersBarbara Buono’s prospects for a gubernatorial campaign comeback continue to “burn up” (pun intended) with every fresh endorsement of her opponent, Save Jerseyans. New Jersey’s Career Fire Chief’s Association formally backed Governor Chris Christie’s reelection bid on Wednesday afternoon. The organization represents 150 active and retired Garden State fire chiefs from roughly 100 departments across the state.
.
“If I had to pick one word as to why we chose to endorse Governor Christie, it would be ‘Leadership,’ plain and simple,” said Chief Michael Postorino, President of the Fire Chief’s Association. “We are proud to offer our endorsement and view this as a reflection of the Governor’s willingness to listen, engage and work closely with leaders of the fire service. We see Governor Christie as a vital partner in that dialogue to move New Jersey forward.”

Earlier Wednesday, the United Association of Journeyman and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry announced for the Governor. Who’s on deck for tomorrow? Stay tuned…
