I am fully aware that as a result of this article, my phone may be bugged, my emails read and my every move subject to round-the-clock government surveillance. But I don’t care anymore, so I am just going to say it as loudly and clearly as possible.
My president is a coward.
It was bad enough that he and his minions in Congress shoved all 20,000 pages of Obamacare down our throats with a partisan vote in the middle of the night.
It was equally indefensible when he and his cabinet members lied, covered up the truth, pleaded ignorance or simply refused to testify about Fast and Furious, the Benghazi attack, the IRS scandal and the Associated Press wiretapping.
But this is the final straw. The self-proclaimed “most transparent administration in history” has decided to delay the implementation of the employer mandate at the heart of Obamacare until after the 2014 midterm elections.
That is not just crass politics, Chicago-style. It is political cowardice of epic proportions. Shame on you, Barack Obama. Harry Truman, who made famous the quote, “the buck stops here,” must be rolling around in his grave – and he was a fellow Democrat.
