Cory Booker: Ruled by the Blue Twitter Bird and Obama’s White House

New Jersey’s least principled politician is at it again, Save Jerseyans.

The sequence of events is as simple to understand as it is infuriating that anyone still trusts this guy.

Last Wednesday, Cory Booker (D-Twitter) talked to HuffPost Live and unambiguously expressed his belief that the U.S. “should not be going to war” or “unleashing missiles” in Syria, firmly rejecting the President’s bright red line approach by name. Fair enough.

Flash forward to Saturday morning after President Obama reversed course on a “unilateral” strike and decided to seek congressional approval (a.k.a. co-ownership of a fopo disaster)

Cory Booker soon after sent out a release stating that “[a]s part of the process of working with Congress, I expect that the president will clearly delineate what the strategic objectives are, and what limited military action will specifically achieve in Syria.” (h/t Buzzfeed).

He condemned the war just 72 hours before. Two positions in three days, folks. A new record!

Or not. Does any of this sound familiar? It should; it took Booker only about eight hours to reverse himself on the Obama Bain Capital attack ads during last summer’s leg of the 2012 presidential election.

This is becoming a pattern. Did Obama bully him again? Or does the part-time Mayor of Newark hold so few firm convictions that it’s hard to keep track of his last position? It’s certainly something worth considering before you enter the voting booth, Save Jerseyans, regardless of how you feel about Steve Lonegan…
