Rep. Frank LoBiondo (NJ-02) announced today that he has $1,159,461 cash-on-hand after bringing in $443,395 for the final quarter of 2013.
“It should be no surprise to anyone that Congressman LoBiondo continues to receive strong support from the 2nd Congressional district,” said veteran GOP operative Ron Filan, who serves as LoBiondo for Congress campaign manager. “From small business owners to working men and women, Congressman LoBiondo has proven time and again that he’s representing their interests first and foremost in Washington. Congressman LoBiondo thanks his long-time supporters for their continued financial and electoral support.”
Over the past ten days, LoBiondo also rolled-out the formal (albeit unsurprising) support of Gov. Chris Christie and all eight Republican county chairmen with towns situated in his district. GOP leaders are hoping to dissuade what they view as a stronger general election opponent like Jeff Van Drew from entering the race at a time when national Democrats are seeking to establish targeting priorities.
Didn’t the Congressman tell us that he’d serve no more than 6 terms….starting in 1994? Isn’t 10 terms more than 6?
LoBiondo is very effective and is very well liked in his district.
