The Professional Firefighters Association of New Jersey (PFANJ) and the New Jersey State Firefighters Mutual Benevolent Association (NJFMBA) threw in behind Leonard Lance’s reelection bid on Tuesday, Save Jerseyans.
“I am proud to have earned the support of New Jersey’s fire fighters,” said Rep. Lance in a statement announcing the decisions of the PFANJ (3,500 members) and the NJFMBA (5,000 members). “These brave men and women are among the best in the entire nation and that’s why I will continue to champion their issues in Washington that are critical to safeguarding our local communities.”
Earlier this year, Lance had pushed hard to exempt fire house from punishing Obamacare regulations which could’ve shuttered volunteer departments.
