The smoke has cleared… for now, Save Jerseyans.
And what a show. For good or ill? Maybe “winning” a 10-man battle royal isn’t a reasonable expectation? Time will tell. Here are some of my Twitter-sized reactions if you missed out on the back-and-forth.
For now, go ahead and vote for who you think did the best or made the most headway tonight (or won, if you prefer) in our web poll below, and then put on your sparring gear and argue for your choice in the comments section:

Ted, Ben, and The Donald.
Christie did pretty well and he was probably best on economy, but Rand Paul’s “Obama hug” sank him instantly. The base will never forget that hug.

As for the winner, that would be Ted Cruz. Trump held the fort though, quite a big deal given the outrageous bias of Fox mods against him.

Kasich, Carson. If Jebs last name wasn’t Bush, I would’ve liked him a little more. Trump “you’re fired!!!!”
My order: rubio, kasich, carson, cruz, bush, huckabee, walker, christie, paul, trump.
Ben ,Ted, and Rand.

Rand Paul was the clear loser, he should just leave now.
Governor Christie first, Donald Trump Second.
I am not sure yet maybe Christie Walker or Trump. I didn’t like Megan’s so called accusations and attack on Trump shaming him on Women hearsay talk and on her Walker attack on far right pro choice position of letting wife die was way too dramatic!
The country lost tonight if it’s actually stupid enough to elect any of these blithering idiots president.
Ted Cruz did pretty well I would love to see Carson but Ted made sense to me.
Trump by far is still the leader and Rubio behind him other than that Christie won’t even win his own state

I’m with Trump! Big attacks and he was who he said who would be, himself. Carson Ted Rubio after that. Christie I do not like.

Winner: Ted Cruz demonstrated his expertise on the issues.
Loser: Jeb Bush made George W. Bush look like Cicero…
Trust me Trump dominated and the polls will show! They created a monster they can’t control!

Fox lost…Fox is the epitome of what’s wrong with the Republican Party they single-handedly created a divide which most likely will cause a third party. Hillary should send them a thank you letter
Christy will fuck this country like he did the police pension
BUSH – – (weak, didn’t look or sound ‘presidential’)
CARSON + + (much better than anticipated – solid performance for VP or Surgeon General)
CHRISTIE +++ (much, much better than anticipated – destroyed Rand Paul)
CRUZ exactly what expected (good substance surpee looking and sounding)
HUCKABEE too religious to be elected (I like a lot with what he says….but)
KASICH Nope (Keep your day job as Gov of Ohio)
PAUL – – – (Biggest loser of the night – hug comment was topped by Christie’s ‘hugging victims’)
RUBIO + (Knows the issues but looks too young for the BIG Office)
TRUMP Held his own (could run as Indy is troubling, what was expected)
WALKER + (sounded very Presidential, but looked wimpy – get a better hair style!)

Megyn – – (disappointed in her ‘performance’)
Bret (neutral – did OK)
Chris (bland not as smart as he thinks he is)

Christie. Did very well our big Guy from New Jersey
I honestly think christie did a great job.the other candidates didn’t have a clear plan,they weren’t answering the questions just blowing smoke up our ass
Drudge Report poll. Trump 47% with 240,000 people thought he won the debate.Next one down Cruz with 14%. Seems like Save New Jersey lives in a bubble
