The Transportation Trust Fund drama will likely reach its conclusion (at least in terms of the legislative phase) on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m., Save Jerseyans.
Governor Chris Christie’s office announced an outer office press conference a short time ago on the topic of the TTF negotiations.
Christie stayed largely out of the fray for months until directly intervening in recent days and, as of this writing, playing an active role in brokering a deal between competing versions of gas tax increase legislation passed by the respective houses.
According to Save Jersey sources buzzing around State Street? The Assembly-backed sales tax cut is out and the Senate’s preferred estate tax repeal (phased in over time) is back in. A reported lack of Senate GOP support appears to be part of the reason:

Either way, New Jersey motorists can expect to begin paying 23-cents more per gallon for gasoline beginning this Friday, July 1st as they begin celebrating a long holiday weekend…
