Rep. Scott Garrett (R, NJ-05) is firing back at his well-heeled Democrat challenger, Josh Gottheimer, with a new ad decrying the veteran Clinton World politician‘s “dangerous agenda.”
“My opponent takes the view that it’s better if we spend more tax dollars to Washington and put the bureaucrats in control. I totally disagree,” Garrett declares in the ad that began airing district-wide over the weekend.
Gottheimer’s connections have enabled him to raise a competitive sum of cash and placing the reliably red district on special interest groups’ radar.
