BREAKING: Baroni, Kelly convicted on all counts by Bridgegate jury

Former Christie Deputy chief of staff Bridget Kelly and former State Senator/Port Authority Executive Director Bill Baroni have been convicted on all seven counts, Save Jerseyans.

Both face serious jail time at an upcoming sentencing hearing. The most serious charges facing the pair have a corresponding maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.

Defense counsel and federal prosecutors alike seemed to agree in their allegations that Governor Christie played a pivotal role in the 2013 George Washington Bridge lane closures at the center of the scandal. The former seemed to pin their hopes on .

The 12-member jury reached a verdict in five (5) days.

Most observers expect the defendants to immediately appeal the ruling.
