Prosecutors will seek three (3) years in prison for Bill Baroni and Bridget Anne Kelly at their Wednesday sentencing hearing, Save Jerseyans.
“Time and time again, Baroni and Kelly displayed a shocking disregard for the public safety risks that the traffic caused,” the Bridgegate prosecution reportedly argued in its filings, for crimes which the state believes demonstrated “a stunningly brazen and vindictive abuse of power warranting a sentence that includes a meaningful term of imprisonment.”
The defense is asking for probation.
