These four N.J. Congressmen voted to begin the Trump impeachment process

A band of Democrats attempted to kick start the process of impeaching President Donald Trump on Wednesday, Save Jerseyans, but only managed to muster 58 votes.

364 others voted to table the motion.

From New Jersey? Four Democrats indulged their party’s fringe: Donald Norcross (D, NJ-01), Frank Pallone (D, NJ-06), Bill Pascrell (D, NJ-09) and Bonnie Watson Coleman (D, NJ-11) supported starting an impeachment debate.

Josh Gottheimer (D, NJ-05), Donald Payne (D, NJ-10), Albio Sires (D, NJ-08) and all five Republican members were among the 364 voting to table the measure.

“Congress faces a vast set of urgent, overdue priorities for the American people,” the House Democratic leadership explained in a joint statement which didn’t receive their open backing. “Democrats are firmly focused on taking real, effective steps to improve the lives of hard-working Americans and defeating Republicans’ cruel barrage of attacks on the middle class.”

Translation: even Nancy Pelosi thinks it’s an optically stupid move. For now at least.
