POLL: 59% Favor Marijuana Legalization in New Jersey

WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. — A new poll from the Monmouth University released Thursday finds 59% of New Jerseyans supportive of marijuana for personal use.

37% are opposed. 

Back in April 2014? Only 48% supported legalization while 47% were opposed.

The biggest change was seen among Democrats; only 49% of them were pro-legalization in 2014 but that number now stands at 65%.
