Murphy signs law to let Gropacus run for president, U.S. senator simultaneously

A bill clarifying that Gropacus (f/k/a Cory Booker) can legally run for president and U.S. senator in 2020 was signed into law by Governor Phil Murphy on Thursday, Save Jerseyans.

If Booker hypothetically wins the presidency, defeating Donald Trump in the general election?

He can now simply resign from his senate post, permitting Booker to serve as the United States’s 46th president.
