Brown endorses Testa in LD1 Senate contest

EGG HARBOR TWP., N.J. — Chris Brown wants Mike Testa to be his neighbor.

On Wednesday, the Atlantic County-contained 2nd Legislative District’s Republican state senator – one of the only GOP’ers left south of Trenton – weighed into the LD1 primary to endorse Testa, a fellow attorney from Vineland.

He is a small business owner who will fight hard to help families and retirees afford to live in New Jersey, without the fear of losing their jobs or their homes,” said Brown in a statement released by the campaign. “I look forward to having a strong partner in Mike Testa serving alongside me in the New Jersey State Senate.”

Testa doubles as the Cumberland GOP chair. He’s facing off against former LD1 Assemblyman Sam Fiocchi in June’s primary election.

Trump-friendly LD1 is considered a rare promising Republican pick up opportunity in 2019.
