WASHINGTON, D.C. — Details of Chris Christie’s Let Me Finish book are beginning to leak, Save Jerseyans.
There aren’t any surprises thus far for anyone who’s closely followed the Trump-Christie saga.
One interesting nugget?
According to the reports, “Trump returned to the theme of girth during the 2016 presidential campaign, exhorting Christie to wear a longer tie as it would make him look thinner.” (via The Guardian)
The Trumpster made a point of poking teasing Christie over his weight during the campaign, declaring “I’m not eating Oreos any more you know. Neither is Chris,” during a May 2016 joint appearance.
Christie’s book is available for purchase beginning January 29, 2019.
