Biden addresses his creepy hands controversy: “It’s just who I am.”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Citing changing “social norms” and pledging to keep his hands to himself in the future, former Vice President and likely 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden dropped a video via social media on Wednesday afternoon to address a slew of stories concerning alleged inappropriate contact with women.

“Social norms have begun to change, they’ve shifted, and the boundaries of protecting personal space have been reset,“ Biden said. “I get it. I get it. I hear what they’re saying.“

Biden nevertheless continued to insist that there was no sinister intent behind his behavior.

“But I’ll always believe governing — and, quite frankly, life, for that matter — is about connecting, about connecting with people,” Biden explained. “That won’t change. But I will be more mindful and respectful of people’s personal space. And that’s a good thing.”
