Incumbents decisively win renomination in Morris Freeholder fight

MORRISTOWN, NJ – A spirited effort by the challenger ticket was no match for incumbent power on Tuesday night in Morris County’s freeholder fight.

Donald Dinsmore (12.20%), William J. Felegi (10.86%) and Catherine Winterfield (12.27%) lost by a wide margin to
sitting freeholders Douglas Cabana (21.32%), Thomas Mastrangelo (21.23%) and Kathy DeFillippo (22.03%) in an intensely personal intra-party rumble which confirmed the continuing existence of deep rifts in the fractious Morris County Republican Party.
