It’s filing season, Save Jerseyans, and one of this year’s Republican candidates for Congress is pushing the boundaries of what New Jersey’s Democrat Secretary of State is willing to abide.
Robert Shapiro is challenging Congressman Chris Smith along with a handful of other hopefuls; he filed to run in the Fourth Congressional District on Monday under the proposed slogan “Let’s Go Brand*n – FJB.”
Shapiro’s choice was first reported by the New Jersey Globe.
“Let’s Go Brand*n” and “FJB” are obviously modified versions of “Let Go Brandon” and “Fuck Joe Biden.”
NJ-04 is New Jersey’s reddest House district. It takes in Ocean County where a “Let’s Go Brandon” merchandise job recently opened up in Toms River.
