No one else in the primary race comes close with only a week and a half left to go before the June 7th vote.
Former pastor Phil Rizzo (who spends half of his time on Twitter complaining that yours truly didn’t organize a debate) has only raised $227,947 and his war chest stands at $78,630.
Rizzo’s haul between April 1st and May 18th: $16,680. He was scheduled to hold a fundraiser with Madison Cawthorn on Thursday night but, based on photos shared of the event online, the defeated North Carolina congressman who is presently facing yet another scandal did not appear to be in attendance.
Assemblyman Erik Peterson of Franklin, for his part, only raised $62,194 since entering the race and has $24,722 remaining.
20-something first time candidate John Isemann’s fundraising total is $116,990; there’s $19,298 left in his bank to spend over the final stretch.
