NJ-03: Smith cites Covid lockdowns as a catalyst for mass shootings

There’s no doubt among serious and – this is the kicker – honest people that America’s school mass shootings are the byproduct of a youth mental health crisis.

Is that crisis worse than ever before owing to Covid-19’s lockdowns? NJ-03 GOP House candidate Ian Smith says it’s undeniable.

“Anyone want to acknowledge that both of these mass shootings were young individuals whose mental health was severely impacted by unnecessary, illegal, and immoral lockdowns?” Smith tweeted on Tuesday following news of the Texas elementary school shooting. “Or we just gonna blame guns?”

A growing body of data suggests that America’s school children have been scarred by the extreme disruption to their lives brought about by blue state government lockdowns.
