Jeff Van Drew romped in South Jersey on Tuesday night.
The only New Jersey Republican endorsed by Donald Trump head of Tuesday’s primary touted his MAGA bona fides in a victory statement.
“I would like to personally thank President Trump for his endorsement and the tens of thousands of America First Conservatives across South Jersey who have once entrusted me to be their standard-bearer in the fight for A STRONG AMERICA and A STRONG SOUTH JERSEY,” said Van Drew. “Whether it’s open borders, record high gas prices, crippling inflation, or surging violent crime, it’s been failure after failure with this Administration and Democrat majority. We need to bring our America home and that’s exactly what we’ll do come November.”
Van Drew was sitting pretty with nearly 86% of the vote with 2/3rds of precincts reporting.
