Toms River mayor says he’d redirect illegals to the White House (with free “Let’s Go Brandon” shirts)

The Asbury Park Press decided to poll mayors with a simple question: if illegal aliens show up in New Jersey on a bus or plane chartered by Texas’s Greg Abbott or Florida’s Ron DeSantis, what will you do? Along the lines of what recently went down in Martha’s Vineyard where the sancturary enclave of wealthy liberals including former President Barack Obama happily handed the migrants over to the national guard.

I’m paraphrasing the question. Of course, the wokesters over at APP didn’t refer to them as “illegals” but fuck that noise, Save Jerseyans. Arsonists aren’t “undocumented fire starters.” If you’re here without illegal status? You’re illegal. We’re sticking to our guns on this one.

The ‘best answer award’ goes to retired admiral and incumbent Republican mayor of Toms River, Maurice “Mo” Hill:

About 20 miles south of Asbury Park in Toms River, township Mayor Mo Hill told the Asbury Park Press that he wouldn’t expect a flight of migrants to his community because it is not a sanctuary city.

“In the unlikely event that a charter flight arrives in Lakewood (airport) with illegal immigrants destined for Toms River, I would meet the plane on the tarmac, give every passenger a box of donuts from OB CO’s and a sweatshirt from the ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ store,” said Hill, a Republican. The “Let’s Go Brandon” is a slogan adopted by the right to insult Biden, a Democrat.  “I would then give their bus driver directions to the White House with my compliments to the president.”

Uncoincidentally?

A “Let’s Go Brandon” swag store opens in Toms River back in April. So Mo isn’t only adopting the correct general position here, but he’s also supporting local business! That’s what you want out of your local leadership, folks.
