President’s DOJ gives his druggie son a slap on the wrist; ex-US Attorney decries “blatant hypocrisy”

The only possible upside to today’s news that Hunter Biden is receiving a sweetheart deal from his father’s Department of Justice? Despite what it obviously says about our Republic’s accelerating rate of decay?

The already-existent two-tiered American justice system – one which applies to allies of the Biden Regime and the other under which the rest of us need to live – is now impossible to dismiss as a conservative or “MAGA” conspiracy theory, Save Jerseyans. At least not if you’re a remotely honest person.

According to Fox News, “the president’s son will plead guilty to two misdemeanor counts of willful failure to pay federal income tax. Hunter Biden also agreed to enter into a pretrial diversion agreement regarding a separate charge of possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance.”

When a defendant’s party registration (or the fact that the DOJ answers to his daddy) dictates said defendant’s legal outcomes? It’s a bad joke to pretend there’s still a genuine “justice” system in this country.

Former U.S. Attorney for the District of Utah Brett Tolman said it all in a lengthy but important Twitter thread after news of Hunter’s plea deal (which will help him avoid prison with probation all while Donald Trump faces a century behind bars) broke on the news wires. While Biden’s behavior is atrocious, today’s development is also part of a trend.

“One can’t truly appreciate how shocking this is by DOJ unless you have watched closely what DOJ has done over the past 30 years,” Tolman tweeted. “This is the the most blatant hypocrisy that screams to the level of injustice many have suffered at the hand of DOJ pounding average Joe defendants.”

“If DOJ treated Hunter Biden like the thousands of no-names who get prosecuted he would be looking at decades in federal prison. Yes, I said decades,” Tolman added in a different thread.
