Sussex Commissioner Dawn Fantasia and Chester Mayor Mike Iganamort are the victors in LD24 tonight, Save Jerseyans.
Fantasia was far out in front by over 1,000 votes with 80%+ of the vote in. Inganamort led rival Josh Aikens by a smaller but nevertheless decisive margin of several hundred votes as of 11:26 PM EST.
Fantasia and Inganamort weren’t hurt by the presence of State Senate candidate Parker Space on their ticket; Space, a popular name in the district, ran unopposed since Steve Lonegan abruptly departed the race after losing the Morris County line.
LD24 is deep red so a primary win on the GOP side of the aisle makes victory in November all-but certain.
