This is just too perfect, Save Jerseyans…
The latest New York Times/Siena College GOP primary poll finds Chris Christie far back in the national field with only 2%, light years behind Donald Trump (54%) and Ron DeSantis (17%).
Christie’s campaign – orientated entirely around attacking Donald Trump and repeating Democrat talking points on Twitter and cable news shows – clearly isn’t connecting with actual Republican voters.
Guess who IS into his messaging?
Take a look at the NYT poll’s crosstabs and you’ll find that Chris Christie does better than any other Republican candidate with
“Republican” voters who supported Joe Biden in 2020. Christie is the preferred choice of 22% of those voters. Mike Pence is the next closest in this category (15%) and everyone else is in the single digits.
Donald Trump, by contrast, attracts 2% of Republicans who backed his 2020 opponent while Ron DeSantis fetches 8%.
