Don’t get too excited over the appointment of a special counsel to probe Hunter Biden, Save Jerseyans.
Yes, it’s an acknowledgment of sorts that the Biden Administration is in trouble. But the goal here isn’t truth, but delay. As CBS News correspondent Catherine Herridge explained after the news broke on Friday, Merrick Garland’s appointment of Weiss (the same guy who offered Hunter a sweetheart deal ultimately rejected by a federal judge) will now insulate the U.S. Attorney from testifying before Congress.
The end result? Like I said… delay.

There’s also the issue of what Weiss can actually accomplish assuming he’s going to pursue an investigation in good faith…
George Washington law professor Jonathan Turley hit the nail on the head in his own remarks:
…If the President is to be subject to a full and independent investigation, the Attorney General would need to state so clearly and unambiguously. His silence speaks loudly to the rank-and-file that the mandate is still focused narrowly on Hunter.

Garland is trying to save the corrupt Biden Family from itself, Save Jerseyans. That’s likely the true aim of this new intervention. Don’t be fooled.
