They might be 2025 gubernatorial primary competitors, but Save Jerseyans, but Bill Spadea endorsed state Senator Jon Bramnick (R-21) on the trail this week in Union County.
Spadea couched his support as an electoral necessity.
“On the trail in Union County last night supporting candidates in Springfield and encouraging everyone to vote for Senator @JonBramnick,” said Spadea on X. “Even though we often disagree on policy, I’m encouraging everyone to get out and vote as we focus on winning the majority. Don’t skip this election, mail in your ballot, vote early, or show up on Election Day!”
Bramnick is one of the GOP’s most liberal legislators and a vocal apologist for Governor Phil Murphy and his administration.
LD21 isn’t considered seriously competitive in 2023 notwithstanding its woke character.
Spadea, host of the NJ 101.5 morning show, has been campaigning across the state ahead of an anticipated bid for governor and endorsing candidates up and down the ballot.
