Republicans hate voting by mail, Save Jerseyans, but is voting on a machine truly any better? Especially as the move towards computerization and clouds continues to pick up steam?
Exhibit A: machine issues were reported in some Bergen County communities on Tuesday morning owing to alleged machine problems. LD39 legislators Holly Schepisi and Bob Auth took to social media to urge voters to “ask for a provisional ballot” in the event that can’t vote on a machine at their assigned polling place.
”I’m disappointed that our county executive allowed these problems to occur in the first place,” said Assemblyman Auth (R-39).
Bergen County is hosting several major races today including competitive legislative contests in LD36 and LD38.
And if you don’t like these new machines please call the County Executive Jim Tedesco to register your complaint.

Big problem with the voting machines in Bergen County. Don’t leave the polls until your vote is officially counted, vote provisionally (see below )@NJAssemblyGOP @NJGOP @BCRONJ @JrzyJoePiscopo @SaveJersey @RowanIPPC @NJGlobe @nj1015 @RebovichInst pic.twitter.com/AE0O2temug
