Should businesses owned by gay New Jersey get preferential treatment?
66 Assembly members think so; they passed A5693 this week which directs the Board of Public Utilities (BPU) to “establish a program to promote women-owned, minority-owned, veteran-owned, and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or questioning (LGBTQ)-owned energy businesses” in New Jersey.
