Rutgers suspends “Justice in Palestine” organization

Rutgers University has reportedly moved to suspend an organization called “Justice in Palestine.”

The letter from Rutgers Student affairs accuses the organization of disrupting studying and classes (among other things), and declares that “[t]he organization is prohibited from participating in any university activity and promoting university programs without express permission from the senior student affairs officer or their designee.

“Any violation of these directives will lead to further/harsher sanctioning,” the letter continues.

Conflict between anti-Israel/pro-Palestinian groups and their detractors have heated up on college campuses across the country in the wake of Hamas’s recent massive terrorist assault on Israel.

A recent hearing on Capitol Hill led to the resignation of the president of UPenn after she and colleagues from other major universities failed to confirm that calls for genocide against Jews would constitute violations of the code of conduct.
