There’s a somewhat remarkable meeting happening at the White House today, Save Jerseyans, starring Joe Biden and attended by a significant percentage of America’s governors. Among them will be at least one potential Biden replacement should Democrats seek to eject him from the ticket (California’s Gavin Newsom).
New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy is reportedly attending remotely:

The meeting follows a phone call between the Democrat governors in which Biden didn’t participate.
The 4th of July holiday begins amid a growing chorus of Democrats – including at least one Texas Democrat congressman and major newspaper editorial boards – demanding Biden step aside from the nomination.
Meanwhile, the Biden camp finds itself in the position of denying claims that the President is rethinking his decision to continue with his reelection campaign…
That claim is absolutely false. If the New York Times had provided us with more than 7 minutes to comment we would have told them so. https://t.co/SRTYIVTy7v
